It is important to give yourself grace as you would a loved one when navigating difficult situations. Achieving fulfillment requires acceptance of your journey coupled with living a life consistent with your personal values and goals. Therapy can provide a space to define what happiness means to you and begin to take steps towards a positive quality of life.

I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University. I also completed a clinical internship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a postdoctoral research fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. My training is broad including a variety of theoretical orientations and approaches such as Behavioral, Cognitive-Behavioral, Interpersonal, Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In addition, I have worked with children, adults, couples, and families across multiple treatment settings (outpatient therapy, inpatient psychiatry, and medical institutions).

My approach to therapy emphasizes the bidirectionality of research and practice within a multicultural framework. It is important for me to meet clients where they are and to develop an individualized, collaboratively developed plan for our work together. I want this to be a safe place to learn more about yourself and how to achieve personal fulfillment.
